I have the honour to report that I have granted to Inspector Frederick Appleton of the Hongkong Police Force a pension at the rate of £297. Os. Od. per annum and that the Crown Agents for the Colonies have been requested to make payment to him as it becomes due.
Inspector Appleton has been granted five months' leave of absence, commencing on the 7th of March
The to the 6th of August, 1925, prior to retirement. leave certificate has been forwarded to you in my despatch
